Preperation & Post Care
Before your Spray tan
- Exfoliate 24-48 hours prior to your appointment. Removing dead skin cells through exfoliating ensures a smooth, flawless result
- Wax and shave 24 – 48 hours prior to your appointment. This allows the pores time to close and help avoid dark spots in your pores
- 24 hours before you apply your tan, avoid using bar soaps, high pH shower products, oil based products or in-shower moisturizers, this also includes hair conditioner. These products may act as a barrier against your skin and can prevent the fast acting tanning agents to develop
- Ensure dark loose clothing is worn to your appointment to avoid rubing or marking your freshly spray tan
After your Spray tan
- Once you are ready to rinse, shower in luke warm water until the water runs clear. Don’t shave, exfoliate or use any soap & shampoo’s as this can effect the end result by stripping the DHA.
- Pat dry your body, no rubbing!
- Hydrated skin is key to the best results, we recommend using our “I Want Candy” tan extender daily to maintain your tan and to give the longest lasting tan.
