A new year always means new health and fitness goals, there are fewer places better than the land down-under, so we thought we would share some of our favourite spots to work up a sweat while enjoying the great outdoors! With some states boasting 131 clear days per year and an average of 9 hours of sunshine per day our incredible country has options for every season and fitness level!

1000 Steps - that’s right 1000 steps! Situated in Mt Dandenong, Melbourne the steps replicate the physical struggle endured by soldiers during 1942. There are only a few spots for rest breaks so pack your a-game and lots of water to keep you hydrated!

Bondi Icebergs Baths- The famous Sydney Baths have been an icon for over 100 years. Get your swim in overlooking Bondi beach, then treat yourself to a feed when you head to Icebergs for lunch!

Bendy Breakfast- Start your day with a morning yoga session followed by a lovingly prepared nourishing breakfast. Based in Fremantle, Western Australia - Bendy Breakfast’s locations vary, one week you’re on a CBD Hotel rooftop, the next you might be on a beach! You can find session details on their Facebook page.

Booroomba Rocks – You are sure to get your adrenalin going, this is the biggest cliff near Canberra and offers fantastic rock climbing potential. The cliff is approximately 140m at its peak- WARNING not for the faint hearted!

Lancelin Sand Dunes- hire a sand board from the local café, grab some wax and climb the dunes located in Western Australia. The fun part is trying to stay on your board- the constant walk back up the dunes will get your legs working and burning!

Lake Broadwater Regional Park – Test your paddling expertise by kayaking down the Noosa River in Queensland. Not only is this a great place to get a work out you can also enjoy birdwatching, picnicking and camping after you sweat it out!

Chuck on your active wear, grab your besties, water and sunscreen. Visit one of our favourite workout spots and don’t forget to tell us all about it at your next visit!
